Thank you to the Civil Service Insurance Society (CSIS) Charity Fund for their generous donation of £15,000

We are grateful to have received another year of funding from The Civil Service Insurance Society (CSIS) Charity Fund, without which we would not be able to help as many postal families.

This donation will be specifically used to help fund our university bursary programme.  In the context of ongoing financial struggles for families and increasing university costs, this money will allow us to support a record number of students this year. Our bursaries provide up to £2,100 a year to students to support them through their university degree or equivalent course in the UK. The bursary is there to help cover student expenses and cost of equipment such as laptop or course materials, so that the student can focus on their education.  So far this year, we have supported 219 students this way, and expect this figure to rise by the end of the year.

CSiS Charity Fund is an independent charity which works with partner organisations to help civil and public servants and their families struggling with difficult circumstances. Some of the university bursary students that we have helped with their donations in the past have gone onto work as civil and public servants themselves.
